Michael Wright is an outdoor photographer specializing in nature, landscape and wildlife images that display the glory and vibrancy of our world.
Living in
Orangeville, Ontario with his wife and daughters, Michael draws much of
his inspiration from the beauty of the Headwaters Region; Dufferin
County and Halton Hills, while extensive travel across Canada, into the
US and Europe offer extraordinary opportunities to
capture mother nature at her best.
Michael has made his life’s career in the field of visual media, working in television production since 1979, while simultaneously following his love of photography. His goal behind every image is to capture the beauty of scenes that people would otherwise miss; the sunrise that goes unseen because it’s too early, the rolling open countryside that’s a blur through a car window, the water droplet on a flower petal, the exquisite detail of frost on a leafless tree.
Many of Michael’s images are available as Fine Art, Limited Edition, Giclée prints on canvas. He has chosen this archival media to help reproduce the intense colours of nature, in a format that draws people to take a second and third look at the beauty of our world.
